Sureband range provides advanced protection against hazardous spray-outs from pipe flanges, helping to safeguard personnel, equipment, and the environment. These flange guards utilize Pressure Diffusion Technology (PDT), which safely disperses leaks into a controlled drip, minimizing the risk of injury or damage.
Sureband Clear is constructed from PTFE-based materials, featuring a transparent ECTFE outer layer and a multi-layered ETFE mesh inner. This design offers outstanding chemical resistance, making it suitable for aggressive media such as acids, alkalis, fuels, and low-pressure steam. It is rated for pressures up to 40 bar and temperatures up to 200°C. A built-in litmus patch provides visual leak detection, and the guard is secured using heavy-duty Velcro for fast, tool-free installation.
Sureband Steel is engineered for demanding applications involving high pressure and temperature. Made from 316 stainless steel, it includes a crimped steel mesh that fits between flange faces to contain and diffuse leaks. It is capable of withstanding pressures up to 335 bar and temperatures up to 700°C, making it ideal for steam, oil, LNG, and hydrogen systems. Installation is quick and straightforward, requiring no tools or cords.
Both Sureband models are corrosion-resistant, self-draining, and available in sizes ranging from 15mm to 1200mm, compatible with ANSI, DIN, and other international flange standards.
