- NBR: Good resistance to hydrocarbons, mineral oils and greases, as well as fuels. Therefore, this type is well suited for media containing hydrocarbons and flammable gases. This type can also be used for wastewater, service and industrial water systems.
- EPDM: Shows good chemical resistance as well as good stability to ozone, aging and environmental influences. Particularly suitable for drinking water applications.
- NR: Application area Wastewater, circulating water, diluted alkaline solutions
- CSM: Application area Acids and alkalis
- FKM: Application area Acids, alkalis and chemicals at elevated temperatures
