Information: 

  • 316L (1.4404) is the most common material but also 321, 304, Cst, Monel, Titanium , etc. is possible. 
  • The alternative gasket materials include: PTFE, Softchem, Klingersil and Mica (max. Temp. About 900ºC).

Type Description
109 LA 1 Lateral profiled with centering ring for "raised faced" and "flat faced" flanges.
109 LA 2 Lateral profiled without center ring for "male" / "female" and "tongue and groove" and "grooved" flanges. This system is used most often in alternate applications with internal ribs.
109 LA 3 Lateral profiled with loose centering ring for "raised face" and "flat face" flanges. The loose centering ring eliminates possible tensions in the metal at high heat.
109 CA 1, 2, 3 Convex profile with the same embodiment as LA 1, 2 and 3. The convex profile is designed to assist in applications with a low stress bolt. Profile depth varies from 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
